SHIMANO COMPATIBLE SPOOL REDUCER
A custom designed spool reducer to get the most out of your bulk line spools when respooling your reels.
No more using backing line, wrap sticks, counting reel turns, no more wasting line or running out of line for the last spool.
Just tie your mainline at the very bottom of the original spool and then snap the custom spool reducer into place with the line coming through the purpose made line gap at the bottom edge of the custom spool reducer.
This eliminates the need for any knots on the surface which can cause increased friction and bad line lay which will affect your casting. If your boating/baitboating then the green custom reducers are a nice contrast so you can see the reducer when your low on line.
This has been tested using 0.35mm main line and took around 250m. I have also spooled up with Avid Outline Camo Braid and a 300m spool of 0.25mm 30lb filled perfectly. It has also been tested using a double tapered main line @ 0.33mm - 0.50mm and it fits perfectly without being over spooled.
I will continue to add tested mainlines here with pictures if possible so you can see the results so pease also share this information in your feedback and I will add your results also.
This part is between the original 3500 and the 6000 spool reducers.
